With even guitar, down tempo pacing, and delicately strained lyrics,
Jeans Wilder produces a collection of unaffected, diffuse,
and melancholic lullabies. Simple strumming merges with warbling vocals
and the result is heard through a fuzzy, manually-tuned, distant a.m.
radio that stretches thesesounds as best as possible from the source.
Jen Paul shapes motifs gathered from the middle of the ocean and
the sky above it, a possible soundtrack for the interplay these natural entities sustain.
Her reverberating chords and soaring vocals yield a straightforward,
steady float and occasionally a more turbulent ride, though at times more
organic and earthly instrumentation surfaces among the fluid echoes.
